Fidget Toys Do Help With ADHD, Stress, Anxiety, Autism, Dementia, Nails Biting And More – Part 1

Fidget Toys Do Help With ADHD, Stress, Anxiety, Autism, Dementia, Nails Biting And More – Part 1

What is Fidgeting?

Fidgeting is the act of moving about restlessly in a way that is not essential to ongoing tasks. Fidgeting may involve playing with one's fingers, hair, or personal objects. Fidgeting is commonly used as a label for unexplained or subconscious activities and postural movements that people perform while seated. A common act of fidgeting is to bounce one's leg repeatedly, chewing the back of pens, playing with your ring or cracking knuckles.

What are Fidget Toys?

Fidget toys are usually small objects that come with a variety of buttons and switches that the user can play with, and aim to aid fidgeting. The most common fidget toys are the fidget cubes like PILPOC theFube Fidget Cube and the fidget spinners.

What Researchers Say?
Over the past few years, more and more studies are studying the effects of fidget toys for those with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, autism and other conditions that affect learning and concentration. Some evidence suggests that fidget toys may affect people's fine motor control skills, which are involved in performing small, precise movements, but conclusions in these areas remain unconfirmed.

Although there has not yet been a definitive study on the impact of these toys in the research world, there are a number of studies that show that toys help maintain concentration. In one preliminary study looking at stress ball use, sixth graders who used these fidget toys during instruction independently reported that their “attitude, attention, writing abilities, and peer interaction improved.”

Another significant research is UC Davis behavioral science professor Julie Schweitzer’s study of letting children with ADHD fidget – wriggling, bouncing or otherwise moving gently in place. She found that more overall movement in children with ADHD did help them perform this cognitively demanding task.

These are a few examples of studies on fidget toys, but there has not yet been a definitive research on the impact of these toys in the research world. So instead of turning to science and presenting you with research, and explaining what the research looked at, what methods they used, and what was the conclusion they came to, we decided it would be simplest to show you what our customers that are experiencing with our fidget toys have say about it. We are certain that after reading our customers’ reviews you will understand all the benefits of fidget toys, from improving concentration with people with ADHD, to reducing stress and anxiety, to stop biting nails, and to help with people with autism, special needs or even dementia.

The following reviews that we will present are 100% real reviews, untouched, available on our product pages in our Amazon store.
